FlyNex is pleased to have won the motor and garden tool manufacturer STIHL as a further investor and strategic partner. The multi-million investment demonstrates once again the trust in FlyNex to further establish itself in the market as a drone data platform and completes the round of investors including HTGF, TGFS – Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen, GPS Ventures and Snowflake Ventures.

STIHL Digital GmbH operates as a venture capital subsidiary of the STIHL Group. STIHL has been a driver of innovation in the forestry and gardening sector for 95 years. As a leading manufacturer of quality products for forestry, gardening, crafts, construction, and municipalities in 160 countries, the company is working intensively on digital technologies. The partnership aims to drive the use of drones as a tool for data collection and analysis in forestry and horticulture.

FlyNex intends to use the investment to expand its current business and develop new areas of business. The partnership also supports the vision of FlyNex to enable any business to deploy drones, collect the data they need, and get all the insights they need from the data they collect in an automated way, regardless of the application or industry.

Benjamin Junghans, Director of STIHL Digital GmbH

“We have spent a long time looking throughout the international markets for innovative solutions in this area and are convinced that we have found the right partner in FlyNex.”

Andreas Dunsch, CEO and Co-Founder of FlyNex GmbH

“With our end-to-end platform, we offer companies automated drones and artificial intelligence for data collection and real-time decision-making. We enable companies to create and process data in a way that only digital aerospace companies can.”
