Documentation requirements for ESG and traffic safety obligations are tightening, portfolios are growing, and qualified specialists are hard to find. The challenges for inspection and maintenance processes are rising sharply.
Manual inspections don’t scale.
And there is more: with traditional on-site inspections, 20–30% of the damage goes undetected. Each inspection is conducted differently, and the documentation is fragmented. This leads to:
- Ressource shortfalls: Inspections are so expensive and time-consuming that portfolios can’t be inspected on any regular basis.
- Liability risk: Missing or incomplete documentation puts your duty-of-care obligations and ESG compliance at risk.
- Planing inefficiency: Without standardized data you can’t set priorities — which building first, which facade is critical, where PV makes sense?
- Incomplete data: Damage is spotted late, follow-on damage builds up before repairs are even scheduled.
Digitalization and automation are the answer.
The technology is already here:
Latest drone technology.
Capture 100 % of the building envelope in a single pass – automated, standardized, comparable.
One platform as a single source of truth.
The FlyNex Enterprise Platform bundles capture, processing and object data, giving you a complete record in one place. No manual handovers, no silos. Full traceability, accessible any time from anywhere.
Specialized, configurable AI.
Trained and analyzes all visual data. Documentation, protocols and data transfer run fully automatically..
How it works. Step by step:

1. Inspection planing & capture
Inspection parameters are programmed precisely in the FlyNex Enterprise Platform ahead of the drone flight — coverage, angle, sensor focus for identical, reproducible results. Operation Services capture roof and facade with high-resolution RGB and thermal imaging. Images are uploaded directly, GDPR-compliant, and are held centrally ready for further processing.

2. Processing & AI analysis
Specialized AI models detect damage type, severity and location automatically. Every instance of damage is georeferenced and classified. Optional: thermographic analysis of energy efficiency and PV potential. All of it prepared for final review by certified engineers.

3. Reporting & system integration
The FlyNex Enterprise Platform generates automated reports: damage reports by asset, facade or building, prioritization lists with cost estimates, refurbishment priorities and maintenance planning. Data transfers via API directly into CAFM, EAM or ERP systems.
Let’s talk about your inspection requirements!
In a no-obligation conversation we’ll work out in 30 minutes what automated roof and facade inspection concretely does for you.
