In the last days, we have updated our Map2Fly and our software again. The main focus of the updates is the introduction of new settings and features. The following major innovations and changes have been implemented by our software team for the FlyNex Enterprise Suite.
1. Introduction of Annotations
Annotations can now be made on images or the map. For the annotation (editing) of images in a project, individual images can be marked and annotated based on where they were taken. These areas can additionally contain info on damage classes and severity levels.
An annotation is an area on an image or map that contains certain additional information. Saved annotations can be displayed on an image or the map, for example, to get a better overview of certain sections and to retrieve detailed info. Individual annotations are part of an annotation group. Example: Annotation group "Sports fields" contains "Sports field City South with running track".
The same applies to the map. Areas can also be marked and saved here.
In the company account under "Settings", annotation groups, damage classes, and severity levels can be added, renamed, or removed.
2. Definition of Office Locations
Company Locations can now be defined in the company account under "Settings". Thus, employees, objects, or projects can be assigned to their own company location. For example, it is possible to assign an employee to a location. The employee then only has access to the projects or objects assigned there. The assignment of projects and objects to a location is done in the project or object settings.
3. Introduction of Dynamic States
The "Project board" can now be customized. Each project status (except for the unchangeable initial status NEW) can be renamed, defined with its own color and arranged in any order. This can also be defined in the company account under "Settings". This makes the organization of projects even easier and clearer.
4. Introduction of Global Filters
The filters applied to individual areas in the application for objects and projects have been merged into the global filters so that the user always views the same set of data in the map, object list, and project board and does not need to reset the filters.
On each page where filters are applied, they are displayed accordingly. To edit the global filters you just need to click directly on the filter icon in the respective view or on the filter icon in the top-right menu.
